Dr. Jason Lulejian, DO, Board-Certified Psychiatrist and Medical Director for our facility.
Dr. Jason Lulejian is a distinguished psychiatrist and an esteemed medical director, renowned for his contributions to the field of mental health, with a special focus on eating disorders. With a career spanning over six years, Dr. Lulejian has dedicated his expertise to improving mental health care through innovative treatments and compassionate care.
Currently serving as an Associate Medical Director at Valera Health, Dr. Lulejian leads telehealth services for individuals battling severe mental illness, demonstrating his commitment to making mental health care accessible to all. His role involves collaboration with Mindbloom, pioneering psychedelic psychiatry to offer groundbreaking treatments.
Dr. Lulejian's career is highlighted by his tenure as Medical Director of Addiction Services at Samaritan Medical Center, where he applied his profound knowledge in addiction psychiatry to aid those struggling with substance use disorders. His multifaceted experience includes significant positions in correctional, veterans, and general psychiatry, reflecting his versatility and dedication to mental health care.
A passionate educator, Dr. Lulejian is an adjunct faculty member at several prestigious institutions, where he shares his knowledge and insights with future medical professionals. His expertise is further recognized through multiple certifications, publications, and awards in psychiatry.
Dr. Lulejian holds a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Western University of HealthSciences and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from UC Santa Barbara. Board certified in Psychiatry and Neurology, as well as in Addiction Medicine, he brings a comprehensive approach to treating mental health disorders.
Committed to improving the quality and outcomes of mental health care, especially for underserved populations, Dr. Lulejian embodies the integration of technology and compassion in transforming behavioral health care.
Jenelle is a board certified physician assistant with 10 years of experience working in various areas of medicine including emergency medicine, urgent care, family practice, and psychedelic assisted therapy. She is also a holistic wellness practitioner and psychedelic facilitator who believes in taking a holistic approach to health and wellness, taking all aspects of a person’s existence, mental, physical, emotional, spiritual, social, psychological, etc. into consideration.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences from Bloomsburg University and a master’s degree in Health Sciences and Physician Assistant studies from Lock Haven University. She completed a post graduate fellowship in Emergency Medicine at Albany Medical Center and completed post graduate training in Psychedelic Assisted Therapy at SoundMind Institute.
Jenelle is a nature lover, animal lover, adventure seeker, dreamer, free spirit, and free thinker who is passionate about learning, the healing arts, music, dance, consciousness studies, trauma informed care, spirituality, creative expression and interior design and decorating. She is a Pennsylvania native and loves the connection to nature that living in beautiful Pennsylvania provides.
Ms. Welhous-Gonzalez joins Blue Ridge with a degree in Nursing from Phillips Beth Israel School of Nursing in New York, and is a Registered Nurse in both Pennsylvania and New York.
She has over 32 years of experience in various medical settings, as well as experience with mental health. Ms. Welhous-Gonzalez previously served as Lead Registered Nurse at a medical facility, Assistant Director of Nursing at a facility, tutor for aspiring nurses, and served as an RN Nursing Supervisor.
Katarina joins us with a strong background of both personal and professional experience with psychiatric health across the lifespan. She is currently studying for her psychiatric nursing certification exam to pair with her active RN license which she achieved after she pursued higher education with the nation’s longest operating nursing school, St. Luke's School of Nursing in Bethlehem.
She has been heavily involved in healthcare since she was a teenager, and since that time, she has treated patients in the emergency room setting, urgent care, occupational health, older adult inpatient behavioral health, and adolescent psychiatric care at inpatient and residential levels, with specialization in both eating disorders and autism.
They have taken courses on individual and family recovery, trauma intervention, nonviolent crisis intervention, management of aggressive behaviors, care of patients living with domestic violence and sexual assault history and more; and she believes in a trauma-informed approach to care. She has personal history living with PTSD and surviving various forms of addiction, and she holds the tools to combat that on a personal and professional level.
They currently facilitate a weekly peer-led support group for individuals living with depression, bipolar, other related mental illness, and their families. She is passionate about evidence-based interventions, feminism, social justice and patient advocacy. They also believe in the active effort to destigmatize mental illness to create a more welcoming and supportive environment of care for patients in need.
Autumn joins Blue Ridge with 6 years of nursing experience, ranging from the operating room to adolescent medicine and pediatric endocrinology outpatient care to care management. A Pennsylvania native, Autumn attended Northampton Community College for her associate's degree in nursing and Chamberlain University for her bachelor’s degree in nursing. A published author, she believes that every individual deserves the chance to express who they are and explore safe options of self-expression. Autumn believes that holistic and modern medicine can work in unison to provide a balance that helps to promote a healthy life.
Outside of Blue Ridge, you can find Autumn experimenting with Pinterest recipes, watching the newest film releases, or trying to find the best dining experiences, nationally and internationally with her fiancé.
Emily has a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Cedar crest college as well as a bachelors in developmental psychology from Lehigh University. She works full-time as a neonatal intensive care nurse. She also has a history of experience working in a support role for children with behavioral health and autism.
McKenna graduated from Penn State University with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. After graduation she worked on a pediatric medicine floor as well as an outpatient center for medically fragile children. McKenna is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Nursing. Outside of work she loves to be outside, read, and travel!
