Jenelle Romig, MHS

Physician Assistant, Certified

Jenelle is a board certified physician assistant with 10 years of experience working in various areas of medicine including emergency medicine, urgent care, family practice, and psychedelic assisted therapy. She is also a holistic wellness practitioner and psychedelic facilitator who believes in taking a holistic approach to health and wellness, taking all aspects of a person’s existence, mental, physical, emotional, spiritual, social, psychological, etc. into consideration.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences from Bloomsburg University and a master’s degree in Health Sciences and Physician Assistant studies from Lock Haven University. She completed a post graduate fellowship in Emergency Medicine at Albany Medical Center and completed post graduate training in Psychedelic Assisted Therapy at SoundMind Institute.

Jenelle is a nature lover, animal lover, adventure seeker, dreamer, free spirit, and free thinker who is passionate about learning, the healing arts, music, dance, consciousness studies, trauma informed care, spirituality, creative expression and interior design and decorating. She is a Pennsylvania native and loves the connection to nature that living in beautiful Pennsylvania provides.

Rebecca Loux, MSN, PMHNP-BC

Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Rebecca is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with a strong foundation in emergency and trauma care. With over eight years of experience as a registered nurse, she brings a calm, confident presence and a deep understanding of acute mental health crises to her work in psychiatric care.

Her passion for mental health was shaped by years spent supporting individuals in their most vulnerable moments, fueling her commitment to compassionate, evidence-based, and individualized care. Known for her warmth, integrity, and thoughtful clinical approach, Rebecca is dedicated to creating safe, therapeutic spaces where clients feel seen, respected, and empowered.

Rebecca earned her Associate Degree in Nursing from a community college, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing with a PMHNP focus from Chamberlain University.

Outside of her professional life, she is an avid traveler and nature enthusiast who finds balance and inspiration outdoors. She treasures time with her family and believes that meaningful connection with self, others, and the world, is essential to well-being.

Emily Seier, RN

Nursing Supervisor

Emily has a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Cedar crest college as well as a bachelors in developmental psychology from Lehigh University. She works full-time as a neonatal intensive care nurse. She also has a history of experience working in a support role for children with behavioral health and autism.

Janette Welhous-Gonzalez, RN

Registered Nurse

Ms. Welhous-Gonzalez joins Blue Ridge with a degree in Nursing from Phillips Beth Israel School of Nursing in New York, and is a Registered Nurse in both Pennsylvania and New York.

She has over 32 years of experience in various medical settings, as well as experience with mental health. Ms. Welhous-Gonzalez previously served as Lead Registered Nurse at a medical facility, Assistant Director of Nursing at a facility, tutor for aspiring nurses, and served as an RN Nursing Supervisor.

Alyssa Brooks, RN

Registered Nurse

Alyssa joins us with her first degree from Pennsylvania State University in Kinesiology and a nursing degree from DeSales University! She has 6 years of nursing experience, starting out in Labor & Delivery, and currently in the ICU. In addition to her part-time position in the ICU, Alyssa is also pursuing a Master’s Degree in Nursing to become a Family Nurse Practitioner. She also loves teaching new nurses a love for the profession! Outside of her nursing profession, she spends all of her free time with her 2 young daughters and loves reading and spending time outside.

Jessica Turnitza

Registered Nurse

Jess is a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Wilkes University. She began her career in the Children’s Emergency room, gaining a solid foundation in critical care. Jess has since transitioned to the inpatient psych float pool, where she provides compassionate care for both adults and pediatric patients. She enjoys the unique combination of medical and psychiatric care and is proud to work at Blue Ridge as a part-time RN.

Outside of work, Jess enjoys spending time with her fiance and her dog, Forest, as well as baking and running. She’s currently pursuing her Master’s in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and would like to continue working with this patient population!
